From June through September, afternoon rounds can turn into a heat-and-humidity endurance test: highs reach 84–87°F, humidity is oppressive, and July averages 27 days with measurable precipitation, with rain frequent throughout summer months. Book a morning slot and you're often done before the daily weather cycle kicks in.
Outside of summer, the calculus shifts. April and October each average just 9 precip days, and temperatures in the comfortable 74–76°F high range mean an afternoon round is perfectly viable. Wind is always part of the equation here — the Atlantic exposure keeps peak winds at 10–12.5 mph year-round — but October's 10.2 mph average is as close to calm as Kiawah gets.
